We develop our little pupil’s minds to see, talk about and question the world around them and we approach this with inside and out activities. Learning in the Early Years begins with social interaction with peers and adults. Learning to play and share and to develop our individuality and independence.
We carefully plan activities every day in each of the areas of learning to encourage, stimulate and challenge our Nursery children.
As well as activities taking place in the classroom and in our outdoor area, the children also take part in Forest School, computing in the ICT Suite, PE and cooking.
To find out more about our class and what activities we have been undertaking on a daily basis then please take a look at the details below. This page will be regularly updated with new material so please keep checking back for new information.

In Nursery this half term our topic is Traditional Stories. We have been doing lots of learning linked to The Gingerbread Man and in the next few weeks we will be reading The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and many more! We have been re-telling stories, making puppets and using masks to act out the stories.
We have also been enjoying our Forest School sessions where we have been exploring the outdoors, making mud pies, digging and collecting objects.
In Maths we have been practising counting in sequence, counting objects carefully, recognising numerals and talking about shapes.
The Nursery children have also been making friends, helping one another, trying to be more independent when doing things for themselves and trying their best with all of their learning.
