NurseryTeacher: Miss Studwick
Nursery Nurse: Mrs Bhatti
We develop our little pupil’s minds to see, talk about and question the world around them and we approach this with inside and out activities. Learning in the Early Years begins with social interaction with peers and adults. Learning to play and share and to develop our individuality and independence.
We carefully plan activities every day in each of the areas of learning to encourage, stimulate and challenge our Nursery children.
As well as activities taking place in the classroom and in our outdoor area, the children also take part in Forest School, computing in the ICT Suite, PE and cooking.
To find out more about our class and what activities we have been undertaking on a daily basis then please take a look at the details below. This page will be regularly updated with new material so please keep checking back for new information.
1 January 2017
Mrs Gwillam & Mrs Johnson arranged another day of fathers, uncles, dads
grandfathers and every male friend or relative to come into Orchard and share
their hobbies, interests and jobs with our pupils.
We got to learn about being a bus driver, a competitor in triathlons, a paramedic and we listened to Bill, from The Rotary Club, play the Ukulele with Lily, Carrie and Lily.
