We are learning to be independent as well as how to make good relationships with others. We really enjoy our Phonics and Maths and we are all making great progress.
Our favourite is Forest school where we are learning about Nature as well as developing our cooperation, resilience and ability to solve problems and challenge ourselves.
We are great at coming to school every day and always make our teachers smile!

We have been reading 'The Train Ride' by June Crebbin in class.
Each day we have looked at a couple of pages and predicted where the journey will take them.
They went out of town, over a meadow, past a farm, through a tunnel and headed towards a seaside town.
On the way we saw a red tractor, ticket collector, lighthouse and a giant balloon.
When we reached the end of the story we predicted that the girl was going to see her grandma at the seaside and we were all right.
As part of poetry week, Reception were looking at Nursery Rhymes to see how words sound similar.
Mrs Brett-Smith set them challenges to find words which rhyme with each other. Now this sounds quite hard doesn't it? But not for our Reception class who love a challenge.
Amazingly they took words like car, door and found similar sounding words. Take a look at them all reciting two rhymes, with a few actions thrown in.
