We are learning to be independent as well as how to make good relationships with others. We really enjoy our Phonics and Maths and we are all making great progress.
Our favourite is Forest school where we are learning about Nature as well as developing our cooperation, resilience and ability to solve problems and challenge ourselves.
We are great at coming to school every day and always make our teachers smile!

Reception have been going to our Forest School every Friday afternoon and they are all enjoying it . Some of our pupils have never experienced this before so Mrs Brett-Smith has been encouraging them to explore the area and to understand the rules.
After a quick briefing at base camp, they have been busy painting trees, with water, and creating the most marvellous mud pies you could imagine!
Our Reception pupils joined us on Wednesday 7th September and they have been remarkable with their transition to big school.
On Monday 12th, they all stayed to have school dinner in the hall with the other pupils and have proved all week that they are very independent and certainly ready to take on any challenges.
As part of the settling in process, we like to include parents in these stages of their children's progress. So, Reception pupil's invited their parents to come and have school dinner with them and show how big they are now.
Well done Reception!
