In Science, Year 3 have been studying rocks and soils.

Miss Sharma took her class off to Widehorizons Environment Centre to discover more about this subject. Widehorizons use a variety of games and challenges to get groups excited learning about different rocks and soils in the outdoors.

First on the agenda, Year 3 went off to identify various soil types through their magnifying glasses and to see if there were any mini beasts living amongst it.

After lunch, it was time for a spot of art involving watercolours and some natural resources, soil.

Take a look at our photos.
